Our Philosophy
“The child is both a hope and a promise for mankind” Inspire Early Learning Journey proudly offers a quality Montessori program, which interwoven with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) of the Australian Curriculum and the National Quality Standard Our aim is to help prepare children to develop important life skills, such as the ability to think creatively and to harness their natural curiosity about the world to foster learning. We firmly believe that giving the children the respect and space to “work things out for themselves” with support but without adult direction, fosters within the child an intrinsic sense of self-worth and instils the sense of an “I can do it” attitude and independence. Also, we consider that allowing children to make discoveries and problem solve while pursuing their individual interests that are relevant and meaningful, we give them the chance to understand and make meaning about the world around them. Inspire Early Learning Journey believes in a well-balanced, differentiated and holistic learning approach that caters to children’s individual styles of learning and needs and allows all children to develop to their fullest potential. At Inspire Early Learning Journey, children are considered competent and capable members of their learning community. Each child has the right to be actively involved in any activities and projects that follow their interests, engage their imaginations and pique their natural curiosity. In addition, each child is respected as an individual with a unique background, beliefs, culture, religion, heritage and as a member of their own community. We value the child as a holistic contributing member of society who has so much more potential than just a “result on a score card”. To help us fully understand a child, we believe in developing a strong partnership and collaboration with parents. Our goal is to develop strong positive relationships, which will allow us to work together to meet our parents’ needs and foster their child/ren’s learning development. Additionally, at Inspire Early Learning Journey we take pride of our learning resources and the prepared environment. We believe that creating a safe, nurturing, caring and home-like environment allows our parents to feel confident and comfortable, and by doing this they are trusting us with the care of their children. For continuous educational development, our educators are provided with internal and external professional development to develop effective teaching for our children. We provide a safe, respectful and comfortable workspace environment where our educators feel empowered to be who they are. Our educators continue to develop competent practices and to demonstrate this effectively, they are provided with reasonable non-contact times for programming and rotating rosters. Each member of our teaching team is valued and respected for their individual talents and areas of excellence, and these strengths are being utilised fully as we plan an engaging and meaningful learning experiences in our Montessori classroom. Collaboration, open communication and mutual respect are important elements of our teaching-team dynamics. All teaching staff members are considered dedicated professionals in the field of early childhood education. Regular meeting, spontaneous mentoring, training and professional development are provided for all staff to upskill their knowledge, which will reflect their teaching quality and implementation. We provide the highest quality early-childhood education program for children from the ages of 6 months to 6 years using the principles of Montessori pedagogy. In order to improve our current practices, we consistently reflect and always receive all inputs and suggestions from each other, management, families and community.
